My Story
Would you believe me if I told you that about 3 years ago, I couldn't bake a single loaf of bread that was edible? The loaves came out dense with crust as hard as a rock, and little-to-no rise. However, if you know anything about me, you know that I don't like not being good at things. So I committed myself to researching how to make the best loaf of sourdough. It took me about 25 pounds of flour and a ton of hair-pulling, but I finally made my first beautiful loaf in January of 2024. When I started selling my bread, I was baking it 1 loaf at a time in a Dutch oven. Then I upgraded to 2, and then slowly to 4. Now, I've worked my way up to purchasing a dedicated bread oven (a Rofco B40) and can bake 12 loaves in under an hour. I sell directly to customers, and set up at local farmers markets. Amber Lynn Bakes has seen a lot of growth over the past 2.5 years, and I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love.

I graduated college in May of 2025 with a Bachelor's in Nutrition and I have a passion for providing good bread (and sweets) at an affordable price. All handmade in small batches by me.

Shortly after graduating college, my husband, myself, and our daughter packed up and moved to O'ahu. It's been a wild ride and we're only just getting started!
